Combating Discrimination
Main objectives:
To improve the understanding of issues related to discrimination through the evaluation of the effectiveness of policies, legislation and practice;
To develop the capacity of target actors (local authorities, independent bodies, social partners, NGOs, etc.) through exchange of information and good practices and creation of European networks to anticipate and tackle discrimination;
To assist the establishment of contacts on European level dealing with different type of discrimination;
To promote and disseminate values and practices underlying the fight against discrimination
